To provide access to Swiss biodiversity data the following steps are to be undertaken:

• Consolidation of the Swiss node data base architecture 
• Trial integration of data sets
• Installation and configuration of the necessary software (PyWrapper) to the publication of these data in the ABCD format 
• Registration of the data providers at GBIF International

The IT solution will be presented at the next session of the scientific commission GBIF.ch, August 31, 2005 in Bern (provided that the data is transmitted in time).
The implementation of the application on the web, after validation by the scientific commission, could then be made available to the GBIF community.
